The hand

10,000 $SMELTHAND or more, as often as you like while the crucible is open. Each hand is logged where it landed: on top of everything fed before it. The ore sits in the contract, not with us.

The seal

The crucible closes on the clock. The block after the close draws the pour line, anywhere from the bottom of the ore to the top. Nobody reads it early, the house included.

The cut

Ore under the line is in the ingot: it comes back in full plus its weight of the warmth. The hand the line cuts through is in for the ore under it. Ore over the line missed the pour.

The warmth

Ore that missed the pour stays in the crucible as the warmth of the next melt. Melt one starts cold; every melt after it is heated by the hands that came late to the one before.

The draw

Once a melt is poured every hand under the line draws its ore and its share of the warmth, once. The house takes 3% of the warmth paid out and nothing else; it opens melts and tied the coin once.
